GNHRE Website Manager:<\/strong>
GNHRE is looking for a new Website Manager. This is a part time (no more than 2-3 hours a week), voluntary position. Tasks include liaising with the Core Team, working with the Web Developer, uploading blogs to the website, and basic website (WordPress) and social media management tasks. Call for Abstracts, Papers, and Submissions:<\/strong>

Sustainability Law: Comparative, Interdisciplinary, and Intradisciplinary Perspectives<\/strong> (abstracts<\/em>)
Promoting sustainable development is one of the most complex challenges where international, cross-jurisdictional, and -disciplinary understanding is key <\/strong>for finding feasible and effective solutions. Yet, the current discussions are often confined to individual legal systems and legal disciplines, with limited integration across fields or engagement with other sciences. The Junges Nachhaltigkeitsrecht 2025 tackles this fragmented approach. It will provide an opportunity for discussion, the creation of a robust network that brings together diverse research efforts, and the fostering of lasting collaborations.\u00a0We invite young researchers (Master, PhD, Postdoc, or assistant professors) to submit abstracts of up to 800 words (including footnotes and references) by February 28, 2025<\/strong>. Student Writing Competition: Marine Carbon Dioxide Removal Law and Policy<\/strong> (articles<\/em>)
The Sabin Center for Climate Change Law at Columbia Law School, together with New York Sea Grant, is pleased to announce a writing competition for law students interested in writing on legal and policy issues associated with marine carbon dioxide removal. The competition is being held in connection with a one-day symposium on the topic \u201cNavigating Marine Carbon Dioxide Removal: From Science to Regulation\u201d which will be co-hosted by the Sabin Center and New York Sea Grant in September 2025. Submitted articles should discuss legal and\/or policy topics related to marine carbon dioxide removal. Articles should be 15,000 words in length.\u00a0Deadline: June 15, 2025<\/strong>. Climate Litigation Network – Science Advisor<\/strong> (Amsterdam or London<\/em>)
CLN is looking for a Science Advisor to support climate litigation eTorts by ensuring that best- available science is fully integrated into legal and advocacy strategies aimed at the worst emitters around the world. The Science Advisor will play a critical role in bridging the gap between science and law in the context of climate litigation, including by supporting the translation of key legal concepts and standards into actionable remedies in climate cases. The Arctic University of Norway – PhD Fellow, Green Transition and Indigenous Peoples’ Rights<\/strong> (Troms\u00f8, Norway)
The project\u2019s field of research will be on green transition and Indigenous peoples\u2019 rights.\u00a0The position is a fixed term position for a duration of four years. The nominal length of the PhD programme is three years.\u00a0The workplace is at UiT Campus\u00a0Troms\u00f8. NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice – Senior Advisor, Clean Energy Infrastructure <\/strong>(New York City<\/em>)
The Senior Advisor for Clean Energy Infrastructure will play a critical role in providing strategic guidance and support across a range of initiatives within MOCEJ. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Clean Energy, this role will lead the City’s policy, advocacy, and coordination on gas transition, and energy infrastructure, and identify innovative solutions to support NYC’s transition to clean energy.
