New Frontiers of Access to Justice, Anglia Ruskin University<\/strong> (papers<\/em>)
The future of access to justice has never been more important. It is affected by the accelerating pace of digitalisation, the evolution of environmental law into new frontiers, the emergence of diverse avenues\u2014both public and private\u2014for accessing justice systems, remedies and institutions, and the profound impacts of these developments on vulnerable and migrant groups. We invite scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit abstracts (maximum 300 words) by 12 April, 2024<\/strong>. See more here<\/a>, and apply here<\/a>.

International Law Weekend (‘ILW’) 2024, American Branch of the International Law Association<\/strong> (panel proposals)
ILW 2024 will take place\u00a0October 24-26, 2024 in New York City<\/strong>. The ILW Organizing Committee invites panel proposals to be submitted online by\u00a015 April, 2024<\/strong>\u00a0through\u00a0this Google form<\/a><\/strong>. The unifying theme for\u00a0ILW\u00a02024 is\u00a0Powerless law or law for the powerless?<\/em><\/strong> ILW 2024 will move away from classic panel presentations and lectures and instead embrace more interactive formats like roundtables, fireside chats, practica\/simulations, and other, more inclusive and interactive forms of engagement. Book Launch: Children as Climate Citizens \u2013 A sociolegal approach to public participation<\/strong>, Brussels School of Governance (hybrid<\/em>)
Through exploring the difficulties but also the opportunities and aspirations of children as citizens challenging the current climate change regime, the book proposes legal and policy tools for children\u2019s participation in global climate change governance, as it outlines a concept of children\u2019s climate citizenship.
