UNIVERSITY COLLEGE CORK (PhD<\/em>)
The School of Law and MaREI: the SFI Research Centre for Energy, Climate and Marine, is delighted to announce a PhD studentship funded by the Marine Institute (ROI) as part of the interdisciplinary research project\u00a0\u201cCo-existence and Co-location in shared island Marine governance\u201d\u00a0<\/em>(CoCoMar). The successful candidate will research the topic of \u201cReconciling regulatory requirements with restoration requirements in the EU Environmental Liability Directive.\u201d Deadline: 15 December, 2023<\/strong>. LEVERHULME SCHOLARSHIP\/UNIVERSITY OF HULL (PhD<\/em>)
Funded 4-year PhD studentship to start in September 2024 or January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, talented and enthusiastic researcher to conduct interdisciplinary research in order to advance thinking within the area of blue-green humanities. This PhD project will address this environmental history research gap via detailed examination centered upon the context-specific elements from flood stories that made the flood mitigation\/adaptation options successful (or not) within sources such as the ‘earth-diver\u2019 motif in the Northeastern United States, the Maya Deluge Myth and the Four Flood Myth Traditions of Classical China.
