Calls for Abstracts, Papers, and Submissions:<\/strong>

AFRICAN COMMISSION ON HUMAN AND PEOPLES’ RIGHTS (submissions)<\/em>
African Commission on Human and Peoples\u2019 Rights through its Working Group on Extractive Industries, Environment and Human Rights in Africa (WGEI) have issued a call for all stakeholders to forward their inputs and comments on the \u2018Study on the Impact of Climate Change on Human and Peoples\u2019 Rights in Africa\u2019. CONSTITUTIONALIZING IN THE ANTHROPOCENE (abstract<\/em>)
Constitutionalizing in the Anthropocene (CitA), a collaborative research project based at Tilburg Law School\u2019s Department of Public Law and Governance, exploring the manifold ways that law is (or could be) challenged by the Anthropocene. This group is calling for abstracts of up to 1,500 words by 2 January 2024<\/strong>. Additionally, a one-day event will be hosted by Tilburg University in April 2024. Example areas of interest may include conceptual explorations, fundamental rights and constitutional framings: future prospects, technology in the Anthropocene: intergenerational and interspecies justice, AI and data-driven systems in the Anthropocene, technology design and deployment as an economic freedom in the Anthropocene, and emerging legal frameworks under the European Green Deal.
