Publications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The GNHRE Project on Climate Litigation in the Global South <\/em>aims to amplify voices from the Global South, organizing workshops and public events and culminating in the publication of articles in\u00a0dedicated special issues of\u00a0leading accredited human rights journals, and the publication of chapters and analysis pieces in\u00a0peer-reviewed edited volumes, as well as possible blog posts on the GNHRE\u2019s website, and other less formal platforms. In the medium term, the project represents an excellent opportunity for Global South scholars to publish their research on climate litigation alongside other Global South scholars. In the longer term, the project hopes to foster cutting-edge international collaboration amongst a network of Global South scholars that focuses on climate change law and litigation and contribute to the ever-increasing corpus of climate change law. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outcome of the second round of the project, Climate Litigation and Vulnerabilities\u00a0Global South Perspectives<\/a>, edited by Maria Antonia Tigre,\u00a0Melanie Jean Murcott,\u00a0Susan Ann Samuel has been published. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This volume explores climate litigation as a means to tackle the rights and socio-ecological, intergenerational, gender, racial, and other justice implications of the ever-growing vulnerability to climate change, whilst critically engaging with the notions of vulnerability and intersectional climate justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first round of the project, publications appear in a special collection of Journal of Human Rights Practice<\/em><\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
