Lavinia Bhaskaruni

Lavinia Bhaskaruni is a current LLM – General Law candidate at McGill University, Canada. As part of her degree, she is completing a research project on the intersection between refugee camps, children’s rights, and the coronavirus pandemic. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in International Business and Law & Society from Concordia University, and a Juris Doctorate (Cum Laude) with a Concentration in International Law (Honours) from Albany Law School. Additional areas of her research relate to various international human rights issues, including the right to a healthy environment, refugee rights, and civil rights. Lavinia also helped in the administration of two major GNHRE projects in 2021 – the Escazú Agreement Blog Symposium and Webinar and the Climate Litigation in the Global South Project.
