Climate action with justice: aligning climate and energy transition policies with energy equity (call for papers)
This Collection for the Springer Nature Journal, Humanities and Social Sciences Communications explores the interplay between climate policy and energy justice, focusing on bridging the energy justice gap in the context of achieving SDG 7 objectives and climate mitigation efforts. The collection aims to investigate the following four dimensions:
1. The integration of energy justice principles into climate policy frameworks
2. The impacts of climate policies on energy access and affordability in different regions
3. Strategies to mitigate the adverse effects of climate policies on vulnerable populations
4. Innovative approaches to ensure that energy transitions are inclusive and equitable.

Call for input of the Special Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers for the next thematic report on Indigenous justice

Purpose: The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers, Margaret Satterthwaite, invites Member States, national human rights institutions, and other relevant State institutions, international and regional organizations, civil society, scholars, activists, and other interested individuals and organizations to provide written inputs for her next thematic report on Indigenous justice. The report will be presented at the 59th session of the Human Rights Council in June 2025.
