Indigenous perspectives are fundamental to the ontological and epistemological revolution needed to transform the relationship between humans and the living world. The GNHRE
is proud to learn from our Indigenous partners and actively seeks engagement with scholars, organisations and activists serving Indigenous peoples.
The GNHRE is also delighted to have Valmaine Toki, of Nga Puhi, Ngati Wai and Ngati Rehua descent—Vice Chair on the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues—as Indigenous Coordinator on the GNHRE Core Team. Valmaine can be contacted directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
