Abstract

Reports on the Institute for Environmental Security conference, From Bali to Poznan: New Issues, New Challenges, held in Brussels on December 18, 2007, exploring how climate change could threaten international environmental security. Considers the suggestion that the concept of security should be redefined to take account of the secondary effects of socio-economic impacts. Reflects on the possible emergence of new forms of international cooperation given the threat posed by climate change.
